My work is a visual meditation on memory, spirit, and identity. I paint in layers—each stroke a step through time, each color a whisper from a story not always told aloud. My palette is rich, sometimes moody, always intentional. Deep blues, purples, and earth tones allow me to speak in a language beyond words—one rooted in emotion, ancestry, and the unseen.
Abstraction, for me, is not about mystery—it’s about permission. It allows me to explore what it means to exist in a body, in a legacy, in a world that’s constantly shifting. There is rhythm in my work, movement in the stillness. I want each piece to breathe, to hum, to remember.
My process is deeply intuitive. I listen more than I plan. What emerges is not always what I expect—but it is always honest. These paintings are not just mine—they belong to every moment, every woman, every ancestor who helped shape the path I now walk. I now have prints available! Order what speaks to you!7
